This unique program, now available to Hong Kong students, provides invaluable opportunities for academic growth and college preparation in an increasingly AI-dominated world where authentic writing skills are more critical than ever.
Program Overview and Philosophy
In today’s educational landscape, the ability to effectively communicate ideas through writing remains one of the most valuable skills a student can develop. The Harvard Crimson Writing and Leadership Camp emphasizes that while learning is essential, expressing that knowledge articulately is equally important. The program offers students the chance to significantly enhance their writing abilities under the guidance of experienced Harvard mentors.
Program Structure and Curriculum

Seoul, South Korea
The Harvard Crimson Writing and Leadership Camp spans two weeks (July 21 - August 1, 2025) with classes running from 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. The curriculum is thoughtfully divided into three class levels based on students’ writing proficiency: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Throughout the program, participants will receive valuable college preparation advice from Harvard mentors, including study tips, academic guidance, and insights into the college admissions process.
What truly distinguishes this program is the opportunity for students to have their work published. Selected essays will be published on The Harvard Crimson’s Global Programs website.
